A 35-year-old man was shot at the Preston Valley shopping center.
Officers responded to the shooting Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 12835 Preston Road, according to the Dallas Police Department. They found the victim, Roy Pate, inside his vehicle, where he had been shot.
Pate was immediately taken to the hospital. He died Saturday, Oct. 13, from complications related to the shooting, police said.
