Calling all Target lovers. The small-format Target is now open in Preston Center. There’s a full-sized beauty department, Starbucks, fresh produce and meat, electronics and even a Target’s bull’s-eye area. Plus, 80 feet is dedicated to beer and 50 feet is dedicated to wine. This store doesn’t have a pharmacy since there is a CVS located inside of the shopping center.
The online pickup area is next to the attached parking garage off of Douglas Avenue.
The 54,700-square-foot store is the first miniature Target in Dallas-Fort Worth. Another small-format Target opened a few months ago in Austin, next to the University of Austin. Most SuperTargets in Dallas are about 150,000-square-feet. The small-format stores are meant for older and college neighborhoods that don’t have space for big box stores.
