Trains at NorthPark Center

The trains are here!

Every generation welcomes Christmas with the miniature toy trains traveling cityscapes at the annual Trains at NorthPark, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The trains cross 1,800 feet of track in a journey across America passing popular spots including New York City’s Times Square and several Dallas landmarks such as the State Fair of Texas, the Cotton Bowl and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.

When: Nov. 17-Jan. 6 (except on Thanksgiving and Christmas; closing at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.)

Where: Level two between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s

Tickets: $7 for adults, $4 for children and seniors.

Honor famed Nazi-hunters

When: Nov. 15, 6-9 p.m.

Where: SMU’s Mack Ballroom, Umphrey Lee Building, 3300 Dyer St.

Famed organist

Organist Graham Barber, former professor of organ at the University of Leeds, U.K., will present a concert as part of his mini-residency at the Meadows.
