Please don’t leave your trash and recycling on the curb this Thursday

This is your friendly reminder that garbage, recycling, and bulk and brush will not be collected Thursday, which — in case you’ve somehow forgotten — is Thanksgiving.

Worried what to do with the expired milk? Don’t fret about keeping it for another week. Instead bring your trash and recycling to the curb this Wednesday.

“Regular garbage and recycling collections will resume for Friday customers,” according to an email from City Councilwoman Jennifer Staubach Gates’ office. “Brush/bulk collection will resume for third Monday customers, if needed. McCommas Bluff Landfill and Bachman Transfer Station will reopen to the public. Sanitation Administration Offices will remain closed.”
