Notable Alum

Terrance Tyrone Williams is a 29-year-old wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. As a senior at W.T. White, he had 59 receptions for 972 yards and eight touchdowns. He attended Baylor University. Williams is known to be shy, according to the Dallas Morning News. On the first day Baylor scouts came to meet with Williams at school, coaches and teachers had to search for him; Williams had gone home. He got a lot of press in May 2018 when he crashed his blue Lamborghini and was arrested for public intoxication.

Three things to know, according to Sports Day:

1 Williams entered W.T. White with a stutter, which he later overcame. He promised that when he became successful, he would take care of his mother. She retired during his rookie year.

2 After scoring a touchdown, Williams struts in celebration. He told the Cowboys team website that he calls this celebration the “swag walk.”

3 After he signed a four-year, $17-million contract to stay with the Dallas Cowboys with $9.5 million guaranteed, he posted on Instagram the new Nike football jerseys he donated to W.T. White. In the post he wrote, “I love sharing what God’s blessed me with. The only school I know I love!”
