Holiday trains

The Trains at NorthPark delight children of all ages, and they benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Since 1987, the trains have raised more than $13 million for the nonprofit. $2-$4.

Rhyme time

Eric Nadel, Preston Hollow neighbor and the Texas Rangers’ radio announcer, releases a book of rhymes, “LIM-ERIC! Whimsical Rhymes from the Voice of the Texas Rangers and his Friends.” Pedigo’s Magic Pilsner, Whitney Rose and Joshua Ray Walker perform at his book-release party. A portion of the proceeds go to the Texas Rangers Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of children in North Texas. $20-$320.
