A wallet was stolen from a vehicle this week on Northaven Road while the victim was unloading furniture.

The vehicle was parked in front of a house March 4 in the 4100 block of Northaven Road when suspects in another vehicle pulled up along side it, entered the vehicle and removed a wallet. The wallet was empty and had been discarded on the floor of the vehicle, according to a report by the Northaven Park Neighborhood Association.

The suspects drove west on Northaven Road toward Cox Lane, where they discarded the empty wallet in the middle of the street.

Dallas police responded to a 9-1-1 call about the incident and the wallet has been returned to its owner. The case is classified as suspended, according to a Dallas police report.
