A North Dallas-based business is in some hot water over its backlog of about 1,000 orders.

Print Your Pet offers to place pets’ faces on items such as fleece blankets, coffee mugs, socks, pillows and T-shirts. Although the business showcases good reviews on its website, customers are complaining that they’re still waiting to receive orders that were meant to be Christmas gifts, CBS 11 reported.

Several customers have complained to the Better Business Bureau about not receiving product after paying the full price. Print Your Pet fleece blankets begin at $80, according to the company’s website.

The Better Business Bureau claims it has opened an investigation into the business, but has not received any correspondence from Print Your Pet. As of Jan. 18 — the latest update — Print Your Pet has neither responded to the bureau’s inquiries or addressed the consumer complaints, according to the bureau’s website.

Many customers have tried to reach out to the company themselves, but received no response or were blocked on social media, CBS 11 reported.

Print Your Pet owner Justin Garza told CBS 11 in an email that the delays are “no one’s fault but ours” and that the company had “never had a Christmas this big — ever.” Garza said the company is working from a South Dakota-based factory to fulfill all back-logged orders.

Garza told CBS 11 the company has suspended all new sales until the backlog is addressed, but many of their products are currently on sale, according to the company’s website.
