Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge

What: It’s time to sign up for Dallas Dodgeball’s Spring 2019 League, which starts April 18. Participants must be ages 18 and up.

When: Registration deadline is April 11. All games are played Thursdays April 18-May 30, 7-9 p.m.

Where: Registration is at the front desk of the Walnut Hill Rec Center. Games are played here as well.

More info: $25 per player for the league. Each player must also have a Dallas Parks Recreation Card – $15 for Dallas residents, $25 for non-Dallas residents, $10 for seniors 55+.

 

Network at the North Dallas Chamber

What: Learn the benefits of membership. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided. New, existing and prospective members are welcome. Featured speaker is Beth Harbin, senior director communications, Southwest Airlines.

W.T. White Community Street Fair

What: Expect food, games, crafts, pet adoptions, blood donations, raffle tickets and local vendors at W.T. White High School’s Street Fair. This year’s event will feature a student art village with works available for sale as well as community members providing entertainment.

What: The 26th Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-off is one of the largest events of its type. In addition to chili, expect child friendly games, food and merchandise vendors, music, and information on Jewish life and organizations in the Dallas community.
