Hillcrest’s boys and girls soccer teams continue to thrive in the playoffs.

The girls team fought off Gainesville High School and earned a 3-2 overtime win. The panthers will face defending Class 4A defining champions Midlothian High School in the regional quarterfinals Thursday at CHRISTUS Trinity Stadium.

Meanwhile, the boys team came through at the very end, defeating Life Oak Cliff High School in a shoot out 8-5. The panthers will face Celina High School in the regional quarterfinals Thursday at CHRISTUS Trinity Stadium.
