If you’re looking for an apartment for under $1,000 a month, you’ll have to search the outskirts of Preston Hollow to find one. But they do exist.
The three cheapest rentals, according to searches on rental site Zumper, are all one-bedroom, one-bathroom units under 750 square feet. Below are listed the specifics of all three. (Side note: these apartments couldn’t be found by searching “Preston Hollow” on Zumper, only when their specific addresses were searched.)
9703 Dale Crest Drive, Dallas, TX 75220
This pueblo-style apartment complex boasts a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit for just $633 a month. The 620-square-foot apartment grants residents access to amenities such as an outdoor space, on-site laundry and a pet-friendly management company.
3353 Lombardy Lane, #903, Dallas, TX 75220
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit is the largest with 741 square feet of living space. The unit has a fireplace, balcony and deck, a dishwasher and a walk-in closet for only $779 a month. It is also pet friendly. Other units in the area are priced at $849 and $865 a month, according to Zumper.
11851 Highdale Drive, Dallas, TX 75234
Unlike the other two apartments, units at Forest Dale Senior Apartments are age specific. For seniors 62 years of age or older, the apartment complex offers a one-bedroom, one-bathroom 462-square-foot unit for $840 a month. The unit comes with a patio, and renters have access to the complex’s business and fitness centers as well as its outdoor space.
If you search for apartments using “Preston Hollow,” the cheapest apartment Zumper shows is at 6223 Bandera Ave., Dallas, TX 75225. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom 459-square-foot apartment can be rented for $1,150 a month. The complex is not pet friendly, according to Zumper.
Apartmentguide, another rental search site, shows other apartments in the Northeast Preston Hollow area for a starting rent of $760 a month for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom 688-square-foot unit.
