Dr. Ruth Westheimer, psychosexual therapist and world-renowned sex expert, will share her story of surviving the Holocaust on April 11 at Congregation Shearith Israel in Preston Hollow.
At 10 years of age, Westheimer was one of thousands of Jewish children separated from their families and sent to the Kindertransport to escape the Nazis. While she made it safely to Switzerland, the rest of her family was murdered.
Westheimer will discuss her fight for survival, heartbreaking loss and how she is inspiring others to stand up to prejudice.
