Proceeds from this year’s third annual Room to Grow luncheon and fashion presentation at NorthPark Center will benefit Dallas nonprofit Dec My Room.

Dec My Room, founded in 2007 by Susan Plan and her daughter Kendall, decorates children’s rooms at hospitals based on their likes and interests to make the patient feel more comfortable during their stay. The nonprofit started out working with Texas Children’s Hospital, but now is partnered with several hospitals in Texas, California, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Tennessee, according to its website.

This year’s Room to Grow event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 17 at the Neiman Marcus Courtyard. Check in begins at 11 a.m.

Chairs Kristi Bare and Nancy Gopez will host an event that includes a seated luncheon, a spring fashion presentation by Neiman Marcus, a raffle and dessert.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.roomtogrow2019.com.
