Victor Vescovo may not have a Texas accent, but he has Texas-sized ambitions.
The 53-year-old Dallas businessman is chronicling his adventures 27,480 feet below the surface in the Puerto Rican Trench, according to The Dallas Morning News. Five Deeps Expedition is exploring the deepest points of each of Earth’s five oceans. The St. Mark’s School of Texas graduate was inspired then to pursue an Air Force career. Now, the Preston Hollow neighbor spends time building furniture and assembling artisan fountain pens. Apparently, he has a submersible simulator in the back yard.
