Here’s the latest on the Northaven Trail

The Northaven Trail is 85 percent complete, according to City Council member Jennifer Staubach Gates. Construction will be completed by November 2019, she said in an email to the community. Here are the highlights from her update:
* ONCOR is expected to complete a fence at the Tollway substation by the end of May.
* HAWK signal installation will begin in early summer and is expected to be done by November. This is used to help pedestrians and cyclists cross major streets.
* A May 18 ribbon cutting event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Gather at Joe’s Creek and Rosser Road (the west side of Rosser Road, at 11129 Rosser Road, on ONCOR property) for refreshments and speeches.
