An Episcopal School of Dallas student is organizing a fundraiser for the North Texas Food Bank Friday, May 24, at Chick-fil-A’s Inwood Road location, 12120 Inwood near Forest Lane from 6 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Participate by telling the cashier you’re supporting the Food Bank when you place your order. Chick-fil-A donates 15% of sales up to $500 and 20% of sales over $500 throughout the day.
The fundraiser is organized by the Food Bank’s Young Advocates Council, according to neighborhood resident Katherine Cowser, an ESD sophomore. Seventeen teenagers throughout Dallas are members of the Young Advocate’s Council. Each teen selects a restaurant to participate in a fundraiser supporting the Food Bank.
