Dr. Jonathan Moody, an honors chemistry teacher at Ursuline Academy of Dallas, ran more than 3,000 miles per year in the past five years. He has participated in more than 30 marathons and recently ran in the Boston Marathon for his 40th birthday.

Moody, who enjoys running on both trails and roads, is Ursuline’s cross country and  track and field coach. The coach was excited to visit Boston, where he also visited an Ursuline Academy sister school. “The experience was certainly one I would want to repeat again someday, but not necessarily every year,” Moody said about the Boston Marathon in the Ursuline News.
