The Birthday Party Project, a Dallas nonprofit, received a big donation from a big name in Texas.

The nonprofit founded by Paige Chenault aims at hosting birthday parties for homeless children. The Preston Hollow resident and former event planner has had several generous donations and sponsorships, including a television commercial with Cadillac. Most recently the nonprofit announced Whataburger as its latest national sponsor. The nonprofit hopes the Whataburger sponsorship will help the organization’s 2019 goals.

The Texas fast food restaurant has donated $10,000 and given $25,000 in food donations for the Birthday Party Pr0ject’s 2019 goals.

Chenault’s mission is to provide a celebration for less fortunate children. The project launched in 2012 at Family Gateway and has grown ever since. As of 2018, the nonprofit hosts 44 birthdays a month in 13 cities across the country.

The birthday bash queen of Preston Hollow is more than happy for the Whataburger sponsorship. She believes the family operated and Texas business is an ideal sponsor for her nonprofit.
