Parade of Playhouses @ NorthPark– The 24th annual Dallas CASA Parade of Playhouses, presenting imaginative children’s playhouses to benefit abused and neglected children, will take place July 12 – 28 at NorthPark Center. During the 17-day event, raffle tickets for the opportunity to win a playhouse are sold online and at ticket tables throughout NorthPark Center. All proceeds from sponsorships and raffle ticket sales benefit the abused children served by Dallas CASA.

Date Night @ Sur La Table– In this fun, hands-on class, you and your date will enjoy exploring new twists on a classic pairing. You’ll work alongside other couples learning secrets for grilling steak and cooking shrimp to perfection every time. Learn to make glazes and sauces from scratch and finish with an unforgettable vanilla crème brûlée.

Art Rocks! Featuring Sheila Hicks- ArtROCKS!, NorthPark Center’s free art program for children, introduces the world’s most famous artists through engaging and creative activities.

Wine Tasting 101– Ever wondered how to select the perfect wine for that special dinner or gift? Feel lost wandering the aisles of the wine section at Whole Foods? This class will teach you the secret to finding the perfect wine, and will make for a great girls night.

Work Out @ Tootsies– It’s bikini season, and Tootsies is getting their shoppers prepared by offering free workout classes every Saturday through July 27th. This week, try the phenomenon that is the Lagree workout (think pilates, but more intense).

Pottery Workshop in the Gardens– Create a beautiful, nature inspired clay bowl with master potter Rebecca Boatman. Let nature inspire these bowls, and explore your artistic side. After a demonstration you will hand build a microwave, dishwasher and food safe, functional 8 inch bowl.
