Ross Perot’s funeral will be an invitation-only event, however there will be live streamed today at 2 p.m. for the public. According to the memorials website, a graveside service Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. will be followed by a memorial service at Highland Park Methodist Church. CBS 11 reported that at the graveside service, the U.S. Air Force will conduct an F-16 flyover in the missing man formation, to celebrate Perot’s longtime support of veterans and the military.

Perot’s death last week left the country mourning, and left many remembering the Texas native’s history as a supporter of veterans, a business man, and a political marvel. Many admirers of his, including Rick Perry, wrote about the colorful character that was Ross Perot.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to one of Mr. Perot’s favorite charities: the Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the Salvation Army DFW, the North Texas Food Bank, the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas and Teach for America. In his obituary his family also said, “An act of kindness to a friend, neighbor or stranger in your community will further honor his memory and celebrate the influence of a remarkable life.”
