The blonde 1950s and ’60s actress, singer, model and Playboy playmate Jayne Mansfield, of the Park Cities, is the subject of a new book by Erik Liberman, a Broadway and TV actor and writer.

Liberman, who in 2017 wrote an article titled “Jayne Mansfield: The First Reality Star?” for the Hollywood Reporter, is looking to further dive into the topic of Mansfield’s live and is seeking out people who either knew her or her parents, Preston Hollow People reported.

Mansfield, born Vera Jayne Palmer, attended SMU and the University of Texas-Austin before her Hollywood fame.

While she was born in Pennsylvania, Mansfield’s parents, Harry and Vera Peers, raised their daughter in the Park Cities area in the early 1950s.

If you knew Mansfield or her parents, you can reach Liberman at 213-375-8175 or at erikliberman.org.
