NorthPark Center is opening an entertainment technology venue called Dreamscape. The shows feature space aliens, one set at the bottom of the ocean and one in which people star in a movie.

The California-based Dreamscape virtual reality experience will open its second U.S. location at NorthPark on Aug. 15.

Kristen Gibbins, executive director of marketing at NorthPark, told Dallas News the mall is “thrilled to be one of the first shopping centers in the country to introduce this groundbreaking type of experience to our customers.”

At NorthPark, Dreamscape will be in a 5,208-square-foot space on the second level between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

The experience lasts about 15 minutes and costs $20.
