If you care about football, history and good writing and art, Preston Hollow neighbor and Jesuit alum Bill DeOre will join author Mark McDonald Sept. 12, 6-8 p.m., to sign their new book “Beyond the Big Shootout” at the Jesuit College Prep Historical Library.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most memorable football games Texas vs. Arkansas, “The Big Shootout.” McDonald’s book is “Beyond the Big Shootout, Fifty Years of Football’s Life Lessons.”
