Texas Women’s Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2020 Maura Award and Young Leader Award, which celebrate those who have had a positive impact on women and girls. Submit your nominations online here by Oct. 25.

Award recipients will be honored at the Leadership Forum & Awards Dinner, sponsored by AT&T, on April 30, 2020, at the Omni Dallas Hotel. Co-chairs for the dinner are community leaders Laura Maxwell of Frito-Lay, and Nina Vaca, a former Maura Award recipient, of Pinnacle Group.

Texas Women’s Foundation Maura Award 

Nominees must meet this criteria:

  • Utilizes their role in leadership to advance opportunities to serve the unique needs of women and girls;
  • Has spent an extended period of time in service helping women and girls;
  • Former or current Texas resident; and
  • Must be 40 years of age and older.

Texas Women’s Foundation Young Leader Award

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Achieving success in a field, initiative or sector;
  • Creating a path of opportunity for others to follow;
  • Former or current Texas resident; and
  • Must be between 18 – 39 years of age.
