South Garland was leading W.T. White 22-0 last night, then everything changed. W.T. White scored 50 unanswered points — 14 of which came on defensive scores — to win by 23.  Sophomore standouts included quarterback Jason Salinas, who completed 13 of 21 passes for 198, two touchdowns and an interception, and Elijah Edwards, who had 29 carries for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, W.T. White forced five turnovers, including one by Dom Dozal and another by Jordan Ramirez. V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! Sports pundits are already predicting a good season.
