I love Stephanie because her son goes to Shelton, and that’s the best school ever,  but honestly I can barely watch The Real Housewives of Dallas. I tried. It’s my job. My daughter and I talk about it after each episode. Here’s the truth: It’s really boring. The Real Housewives of Potomac is more interesting. Potomac?! RHOD has jumped the shark. No one cares. And there are so many more important things to do. Here are three more meaningful things you can do with your time instead:

  1.  Check out Bill DeOre’s art at the Jesuit Dallas Museum through Dec. 20

2. Winspear world premieres. Curated by The Dallas Opera set and costume designer Tommy Bourgeois, the exhibition features 19th-century seafarers, modern-day mountaineers and contemporary opera stars. Expect costumes from Moby-Dick, Everest, Great Scott and Becoming Santa Claus. When: through Nov. 6. Where: NorthPark Center, Level One between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s
