This year’s AIA Dallas Tour of Homes, curated by architects, will feature two Preston Hollow homes: the Sexton home by Eckxstudio for Modern Architecture and the Caladium Drive home by NIMMO. The tour is Nov. 2-3, 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Additionally, this year’s Premiere Party home is also in Preston Hollow. The party, which features hors d’oeuvres, open bar and tour architects, is Oct. 30.
“This year’s homes are especially diverse, from size and style to age, location, and home type,” says Chris Anderson, designer at Laura Juarez Baggett Studio and 2019 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes co-chair.
Starting Oct. 21, addresses for the homes will be available on hometourdallas.com. Tickets can be purchased for $30. They may also be purchased during the tour at any of the homes for $35 weekend of; and $10 for individual homes. VIP tickets can be purchased for an additional $20.
The 2019 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes is presented by Porcelanosa. Proceeds from the tour benefit AIA Dallas, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, which aims to advance architecture and design.
