Former Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings will be receive the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth’s H. Neil Mallon Award. The honor is presented annually to those who have excelled at promoting the international focus and increasing the international standing of North Texas. The award is named after H. Neil Mallon, the late chairman of Dresser Industries, who was the founder of the Dallas Council on World Affairs, now called the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. This year’s event will take place on Nov. 1 at the Hilton Anatole. The funds raised from the event support the programs at the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth.
