Fierce female Roslyn Dawson Thompson of Texas Women’s Foundation is now a Girls Scouts ‘Woman of Distinction’

Roslyn Dawson Thompson, an Advocate magazine “Fierce Female” and president and CEO of Texas Women’s Foundation, will be named a “Woman of Distinction” by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas at its annual luncheon Friday, Oct. 18. The luncheon keynote speaker will be Victoria Arlen, a Paralympic Gold medalist, ESPN on-air personality and “Dancing With the Stars” contestant.

Other award recipients include Sabrina Martinez Harrison and Mary Anne Sammons Cree. Current Girl Scouts, Gauri Nukala and Mary Katherine Futrell, will be named Young Women of Distinction.
