There is plenty to mourn today, but this one is part of what makes our neighborhood a neighborhood.

The Sunday night tornado all but leveled North Haven Gardens.

Owner John Pinkus says he plans to rebuilt it “better than ever.”

General manager Cody Hoya released a statement:

In spite of of our severe damage, North Haven Gardens has been in this location since 1951; almost 69 years. We’ve rebuilt from adversity before and this time will be no different. We look forward to welcoming our many friends and patrons back for an ever better experience.

While we give them time to recover, please share your fond memories of North Haven Gardens with us. Do you have old photos from the nursery? Please send them to lkresl@advocatemag.com.
