“The Voice of the People” needs help from the people.

The three-story building the radio station occupies, on Northaven Road near Central Expressway, took a beating and knocked KNON off the air. But they plan to broadcast again in two days.

Station manager Dave Chaos says the 36-year-old community radio station’s broadcast equipment is fine, and they’ve secured a temporary location. But he expects the move to cost as much as $65,000.

Make an online pledge to the station to help.

Here’s the manager’s video announcement today, wherein he stresses that no one should come to their old building because it’s unsafe. He also gives a tour of the destruction.
