“There are reports of gas leaks north of Walnut Hill. If residents smell natural gas or suspect a natural gas leak, leave the area immediately and from a safe distance, call 9-1-1 and the Atmos Energy 24/7 emergency line at 866-322-8667.
“According to Oncor, there are approximately 65,000 customers in Dallas experiencing a service interruption due to this storm. If you see a live wire, please do not go near it. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
“This is also the first day of early voting for the November 5th election. The Preston-Royal Library, an early voting location, seems to have been impacted and may not be available today.
My office will continue to update you as we learn more. If you have any questions, please reach out to my Council Liaison, Sarah Evans, at sarah.evans@dallascityhall.com or by phone at 214-670-3816.”
