The 4.3-acre Malouf home on Strait Lane sold, according to Steve Brown at the Dallas Morning News. Once listed at almost $28 million, the 37,000-square-foot estate has 10 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, a 10-car garage, two basketball courts, a bowling alley and a $10 million water park. The house was built starting in 2003 by Dr. Richard Malouf. Allie Beth Allman & Associates first listed the property at $27.9 million in 2017. Dallas developer Mehrdad Moayedi’s Crescent Estates Custom Homes bought the home. The developer plans to update the home and resell it in the spring.

In 2017, Moayedi bought the 25-acre Crespi Estate in North Dallas, remodeled the mansion and sold it to the Cox family. Moayedi is turning the land surrounding the Crespi into an exclusive neighborhood on Walnut Hill Lane.
