What: NorthPark Scrooge Puppet Theatre has been a holiday tradition for four decades.
When: through Dec. 24. Monday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Sunday, 12:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.; Christmas Eve, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Shows start at the bottom of every hour.

Skating Santa at Galleria Dallas
What: See more than 10,000 ornaments on the Galleria Christmas tree and watch Missile
Toes, a Santa who shoots sparks from his skates and does back flips.
When: through Jan. 5.
Where: Galleria Dallas, 13350 Dallas Parkway.

Christmas at the White House in 2007
What: That’s the theme of the holiday exhibit at the Bush Center. Check out models of the Alamo, Mount Rushmore, the Frederick Douglass house, Spanish missions and a replica of the Blue Room Christmas tree.
When: through Jan. 5
