Ursuline soccer has been one of the most dominant programs in the state, reported the Dallas Morning News. The team entered last season with 27 TAPPS state championships in 28 seasons. John Paul II made sure it wouldn’t be 28 in 29 with a 2-1 win in last season’s state quarterfinals. It was a rematch of the 2018 state title game in which Ursuline beat John Paul II 2-0. Ursuline is off to a 7-0-1 start and is ranked as the No. 25 team in the country, according to “Top Drawer Soccer.” Ursuline’s soccer legacy includes Madison Haley.
