After the tornado: crime. Here’s a chance to voice your concerns.

Robert Wilonsky at the Dallas Morning News reported a crime at the CVS in the Marsh Lane Plaza shopping center Tuesday at 4 p.m. “A young man – pale and red-haired and heavyset – put a pistol to the chest of an elderly gentleman who had just pulled into a handicapped spot near the pharmacy’s door. The guy with the gun demanded the man’s car keys, which he loudly refused to hand over.” The suspect disappeared in a tornado-ravaged neighborhood and the police are investigating.

City Council members Jennifer Staubach Gates and Lee Kleinman are holding a “Crime in Tornado Impacted Communities Meeting” at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gateway Church on Hillcrest Road.
