If you’ve seen a movie recently, you’ve seen the trailer for “The French Dispatch.” The film, directed by Wes Anderson, features Owen Wilson (who attended but didn’t graduate from St. Mark’s) and Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton Edward Norton, Frances McDormand and Adrien Brody. Indiewire reports that the film “is a love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris and centers on three storylines.” Wilson plays Herbsaint Sazerac, a writer and staff-member of the “The French Dispatch,” based on Joseph Mitchell, a writer for The New Yorker. Anderson and Wilson were college roommates. “The French Dispatch” is due in theaters July 24. Watch the trailer here.
