Do yoga with your dog

What: Bring your dog and do a downward dog. This class is led by dog yoga experts Gina Chew and Renee Austin. Learn dog massage techniques. Plus: your dog will help you with yoga moves.

When: Sunday, March 1, 1:30-2:30 p.m. Pre-warmup is at 1 p.m.

Where: Aaron Family Jewish Community Center.

Pinwheels in the Park

What: Pinwheels in the Park is the inaugural event for the Save Jane Society, a multi-generational auxiliary supporting Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. Come decorate a pinwheel or make an encouragement keychain to give to children at DCAC. Decorated pinwheels will be on display April 1-2 at DCAC’s Save Jane Event in Klyde Warren Park.

When: Saturday, Feb. 29, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Crime watch meeting

What: The Briarwood Crime Watch Neighborhood Association is hosting a community discussion with District Attorney John Creuzot about his new policy not to prosecute low level offenses. The event is co-sponsored by the Devonshire Neighborhood Association, Shorecrest Crime Watch and the Elm Thicket/NorthPark Community.
