Bernie’s is a cocktail lounge on the ground floor of Preston Tower, the swanky building behind the “pink wall” at 6211 W. Northwest Hwy., according to Teresa Gubbins at Culture Map. Owners Stephen Becker and Leslie Merrill serve cocktails and appetizers. Their signature drink, called “Leslie’s lemonade,” consists of lemon juice, St. Germain, and vodka. Here’s how Bernie’s Facebook page describes it: ” Bernie’s is a private club specializing in libation therapy. Joining is easy! We swipe your drivers license and voila! You are a member. Come see us! We are located on the first floor of Preston Tower. Your cocktail, cold beer or wine awaits.”
