JUSTIN FAVELA POP-UP INSTALLATION
What: See a bit of artist Justin Favela’s “Puente Nuevo,” an immersive gallery space on view at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, at this NorthPark pop-up art installation . He uses the same colorful tissue that is used to construct piñatas to interpret art from the past.

THE UNEXPECTED SPY BOOK SIGNING
What: Tracy Walder, who taught at Hockaday, wrote “The Unexpected Spy: From the CIA to the FBI, My Secret Life Taking Down Some of the World’s Most Notorious Terrorists.” The book, which has been optioned for TV, is about a young woman who went from her college sorority to the CIA, where she hunted terrorists and weapons of mass destruction.
