Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas canceled the lacrosse and crew trips to California due to concerns about the coronavirus. In addition, the medical society mission trip to Guatemala has been postponed. “New cases continue to emerge and we are concerned by the potential for imposed quarantines,” reads the school’s website. “We will continue to monitor travel advisories and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as we progress through the spring semester and will communicate changes to the calendar, as needed.”

Ursuline canceled classes March 11 to do a deep cleaning after a member of the extended school community is presumed positive for COVID-19. St. Rita Catholic School canceled classes for the rest of the week because one of the parents has a presumptive case of COVID-19.

There are six presumptive cases of coronavirus in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including two in Dallas County, one in Tarrant County and three in Collin County, according to the Dallas Morning News.
