NextDoor, which is usually filled with posts about lost pets and people sharing their opinions in ALL CAPS, is now filled with neighbors offering to help one another now that people are isolated at home with coronavirus. There are offers to do errands, pick up food and medicine and more. “If you have an elderly neighbor that you know needs supplies or food dropped off, please let us know so we all can pitch in to help,” wrote one neighbor.

Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks offered to reimburse employees for breakfast and lunch purchases made from small, local and independent businesses, including takeout and delivery options. Are people in your neighborhood organizing to help one another? Let us know by emailing lkresl@advocatemag.com. Find out more about the virus here.
