Preston Hollow neighbor Mark Cuban is all over the media these days.

  • On March 25, he went on “The View” virtually and said he’d give his 16-year-old daughter a public spanking if she went out partying amid the coronavirus pandemic. This was in response to a question about spring breakers not taking the shelter-in-place order seriously. Evidently, he had a conversation with his daughter when she wanted to visit with friends. “You have to communicate to them and really make it clear,” he said.
  • Also on “The View,” he refused to trash President Donald Trump over the coronavirus. “You know, I’m not a fan of President Trump’s,” Cuban said, “but I’m not going to rip on him either because any senator could have stood up and said something and screamed loud, any congressperson could have, nobody did. And so, I didn’t have high expectations for President Trump but I’m not going to throw him under the bus. I think it was a failure of leadership across the entire political spectrum.”
  • On March 24, he said he hoped the NBA can return in mid-May. “No one has perfect information right now, so all decisions are tough, but if I had to guess based off the people I’ve talked to at the CDC and other places, I would say that the over-under [for a restart] would be June 1, and I’m taking the under,” Cuban told WFAA.
  • Then he was back on “The View” today talking about restarting the economy and emphasizing safety first. “I’m not going to take any politician’s words for it ever,” he said.

But he saved his really strong opinions for Twitter (he must have had a lot of caffeine on Tuesday, March 25).
