Amber Li, a ninth-grade student at The Hockaday School, won “best in show” in Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s annual student art contest. Her work, based on the theme “Paint the town ______. Ride the DART,” was selected from 1,174 entries from students in kindergarten through 12th grade. She received $1,000 from Dallas Contemporary. You can see her art on the side of DART buses.
