The kindergartners through second graders of Heart House and the fourth graders at Wesley Prep spent half a year creating a book together and now they want to share it with you via Zoom. The event takes place Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. “Heart Words” is filled with messages of wisdom and hope. The book also includes illustrations. The Wesley Prep fourth graders and the Wildflower students of Heart House spent their Friday afternoons since October creating the book.  The collaboration was part of The Common Ground Experiment, a fourth grade tradition at Wesley Prep.  Each year the fourth grade class spends time getting to know neighbors to build relationships while working on a creative project together. Heart House is an education nonprofit serving school age children who are resettled refugees from all over the world.
