Jesuit grad Jordan Spieth is one of a dozen PGA Tour pros scheduled to play in a fundraising event at Maridoe Golf Club outside Dallas May 19-21, according to Golfworld. Players praised the club outside Dallas for pulling off its initial 54-hole event April 28-30 following social distancing guidelines. It raised more than $20,000 for the club’s caddie fund. Among the guidelines:

  • No carts and caddies.
  • No bunker rakes (a walking scorer with each group will stay on the cart path and rake bunkers when needed).
  • Participants can only have one guest.
  • Participants can arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before tee times.
  • Participants must not come within 6 feet of fellow competitors.
  • The clubs range will convert into a par-3 course and available for players to warm up quickly before their rounds.
