Ursuline Academy of Dallas is holding a virtual Dallas art show. Categories include studio art, digital photography, filmmaking, ceramics, printmaking, papermaking and fused glass. The art show juror is Nishiki Sugawara-Beda, a visual artist who works primarily on painting and an assistant professor at SMU. She immigrated to the U.S. from Japan and earned a BA from Portland State University in 2005 and an MFA from Indiana University in 2010. Her works have been shortlisted for various art competitions including the Door Prize (Bristol, England), ArtGemini Prize (London, England), and 7th National Juried Exhibition at Prince Street Gallery (New York).
