Popular Dallas restaurant Royal China closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
Owner April Kao and her husband reopened after nearly three months on June 1. The couple enforced temperature checks for the staff before starting a shift, and all employees wore masks, reported The Dallas Morning News.
One employee did not have a temperature but looked sick. They asked him to leave and get tested. On Saturday, Kao learned the employee contracted COVID-19.
The restaurant was sanitized and is temporarily closed until further notice. All employees must quarantine for two weeks.
