Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban donated $100,000 to the National Association of Black Journalists, reported The Dallas Morning News.

The money goes toward their COVID-19 relief fund, which assists black journalists laid off or affected by the pandemic.

The donation made by Cuban is in honor of the first black sports writer at the Fort Worth Star- Telegram Roger B. Brown and former NBA writer Martin McNeal, who both died earlier this year,  reported the publication.
