A new North Dallas neighborhood will be one of the largest collections of high-end homes the area has seen in years.

The 75-home luxury residential project is a part of the Preston Hollow Village development at Walnut Hill Lane and U.S. Highway 75.

The 42-acre Preston Hollow Village project began in 2013 and includes retail, apartments and offices.

A $500 million development consists of over 15 acres of home development at the west end of Preston Hollow Village, the Dallas Morning News reported.

“There really is no land left in the area where you can build something like this,” Provident Realty CEO Leon Backes told the publication. “These homes are being very well received.”

Known as the Signature Collection at Preston Hollow Village, the gated community will have condominiums, urban-style courtyard homes and larger classic houses.

Even the smallest homes are over 2,000 square feet.

Construction will begin on the first houses later in 2020, Rosewood CEO Luc Dauwe said.

While Dauwe claimed that main buyers would come from older age groups, young people have also expressed interest in the gated community.

“But we have talked to several younger people, too,” he said. “We are close to the Park Cities, the airports, the toll roads, Central Expressway and NorthPark.”
